Mission Impossible Para Nabi

alhikmah.ac.id – Jika kita diminta berdakwah ke tengah masyarakat yang memiliki karakter buruk, angkuh,“songong”, “ndablek” hatinya sudah tertutup dengan kesombongan dan kemusyrikan yang sudah berkarat. Apa yang kita lakukan? Sanggupkah kita menerima amanah dakwah itu? Atau mungkin seribu alasan kita kumpulkan agar tugas itu tidak jatuh ke pundak kita.

Inilah mission impossible, situasi buruk yang dihadapi para nabi

Tengoklah kisah Nabi Musa yang diminta mendatangi Firaun yang punya tentara paling kuat di zamannya, punya kekuasaan tak terbatas sampai mengaku sebagai Tuhan. Sementara Musa punya beban psikologis yang berat karena dibesarkan oleh Firaun di istananya yang megah. Berapa persentase kemungkinan Firaun menerima dakwah nabi Musa? Mungkin 0,0001%, apa Musa menolak?

“Ya Tuhan… jangan saya deh yang datangi Firaun, saya kan banyak utang budi, saya dibesarkan oleh kebaikan Asiah istri Firaun!!”

Namun ternyata bukan penolakan yang dilakukan Musa, tapi ketaatan dan ketegaran menjalani semua tugas tersebut.

Begitu pula dengan Nabi Nuh. 950 tahun berdakwah hanya memiliki sedikit pengikut. Namun Nuh tetap menjalani misinya dengan segala keteguhan. Apakah Allah complain kepada Nuh yang tidak berhasil membawa banyak pengikut? Ternyata tidak. Allah tidak pernah melihat hasil, tetapi Allah melihat proses dan perbuatan amal manusia.

وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Dan Katakanlah: “Bekerjalah kamu, Maka Allah dan rasul-Nya serta orang-orang mukmin akan melihat pekerjaanmu itu, dan kamu akan dikembalikan kepada (Allah) yang mengetahui akan yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu diberitakan-Nya kepada kamu apa yang Telah kamu kerjakan. (At-Taubah:105)

Mari kita buka sirah Rasulullah Muhammad saw. Mission impossible yang harus Beliau lakukan sangat berat. Terlahir sebagai yatim dari keluarga miskin, tidak punya harta dan kedudukan, apalagi pengikut. Namun Allah mengangkatnya menjadi seorang Nabi dengan tugas yang mission impossible. Mengapa dianggap impossible? Karena tanpa bekal apa-apa Muhammad harus berdakwah di tengah kaum yang hidupnya keras, biasa berperang, angkuh, sombong, buta dan tuli hatinya. Karakter masyarakat Makkah ketika itu digambarkan lehernya mendongak, tidak pernah menunduk. Artinya keangkuhan dan kesombongan sudah mengakar kuat mendarah daging, mereka kaum yang sulit menerima nasihat, bahasa lainnya susah didakwahi. Gambaran jelas tentang mereka dalam surat Yasin ayat 8-10.

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ  وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ  وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Sesungguhnya kami Telah memasang belenggu di leher mereka, lalu tangan mereka (diangkat) ke dagu, Maka Karena itu mereka tertengadah. Dan kami adakan di hadapan mereka dinding dan di belakang mereka dinding (pula), dan kami tutup (mata) mereka sehingga mereka tidak dapat Melihat. Sama saja bagi mereka apakah kamu memberi peringatan kepada mereka ataukah kamu tidak memberi peringatan kepada mereka, mereka tidak akan beriman. (Yasin:8-10)

Mengapa Allah sudah bilang karakter orangnya susah didakwahi tapi Allah tetap menyuruh Rasul berdakwah, Kenapa pula Rasulullah mau melakukannya?

Setidaknya ada 3 alasan mengapa para Nabi dan Rasul tetap setia dengan misi dakwahnya, merubah yang impossible menjadi possible yaitu:

1. Yakin

Keyakinan yang kuat karena dakwah ini perintah Allah, pasti Allah tidak akan meninggalkannya sendirian. Tidak mungkin Allah memerintahkan sesuatu yang tidak mungkin dilakukan. Yakin pasti bisa dilakukan. Berapa persen tingkat keberhasilannya? Itu bukan urusan Nabi, karena Nabi hanya melakukan apa yang diperintahkan Allah. Soal hasil terserah Allah.

Seorang diri Rasulullah berdakwah tanpa bosan dan putus asa. Rasulullah derect selling sendirian, bahasa Islamnya silaturahim kepada siapa saja, yang dikenal maupun orang asing.

“Sudilah kiranya Anda duduk sebentar mendengarkan saya, jika ucapan saya Anda sukai silahkan bergabung jika tidak suka Anda boleh pergi.”

Dakwah Rasulullah mendapat celaan, hinaan, ancaman, siksaan, pemboikotan dan pembunuhan pengikutnya dari golongan budak yang lemah. Sampai Allah gambarkan

Dalam surat Al-An’am ayat 33, betapa sedih dan sempit dada Rasulullah mendengar ejekan dan komentar mereka dalam menyikapi dakwah Rasulullah.

Sesungguhnya kami mengetahui bahwasanya apa yang mereka katakan itu menyedihkan hatimu, (janganlah kamu bersedih hati), Karena mereka Sebenarnya bukan mendustakan kamu, akan tetapi orang-orang yang zhalim itu mengingkari ayat-ayat Allah. (Al-An’am:33)

Dalam ayat Ini Allah menghibur nabi Muhammad s.a.w. dengan menyatakan bahwa orang-orang musyrikin yang mendustakan nabi, pada hakikatnya adalah mendustakan Allah sendiri, Karena nabi itu diutus untuk menyampaikan ayat-ayat Allah.

Dengan keyakinan dan kesabaran perlahan-lahan dakwah ini bersemi. Jika dihitung berapa banyak penduduk Makkah yang mati kafir dan yang beriman? Tentu lebih banyak yang beriman. Pada perang Badar yang mati 70 orang, perang Uhud belasan orang. Bandingkan yang beriman pada Fathu Makkah yaitu 2000 orang. Nabi membuktikan impossible menjadi possible.

2. Allah Maha Teliti mencatat amal manusia

Allah sangat menghargai proses, yang penting beramal dengan cara yang benar. Allah tidak pernah menuntut hasil. Ketika seluruh energy telah dikerahkan, segala daya upaya telah dipersembahkan, maka Allah akan tunjukkan jalan setapak demi setapak. Seperti dalam surat al-Ankabut ayat terakhir:

Dan orang-orang yang berjihad untuk (mencari keridhaan) kami, benar- benar akan kami tunjukkan kepada mereka jalan-jalan kami. dan Sesungguhnya Allah benar-benar beserta orang-orang yang berbuat baik. (Al-Ankabut:69)

Selama 10 tahun Rasulullah direct selling di Makkah, tiap musim haji Rasulullah mendatangi tenda-tenda kabilah yang datang untuk thawaf di Ka’bah, baru pada tahun ke 11 kenabian Allah bukakan hati penduduk Yatsrib 6 orang suku Aus dan Khadraj untuk masuk Islam. Ya… dari 6 orang ini Islam bersemi di Madinah selanjutnya Rasulullah mengutus Mush’ab bin Umair untuk berdakwah di Madinah meluaskan ekspansi dakwah menyiapkan lading subur kedatangan para sahabat yang mendapat siksaan untuk berhijrah, puncaknya Rasulullah pun berhijrah pada tahun ke 13.

Merekalah yang diberi gelar kaum Anshar yang siap menampung kaum Muhajirin. Seluruh proses dakwah yang Rasulullah lakukan bersama sahabat mendapat ganjaran dari Allah. Bahkan seluruh amal perbuatan manusia dicatat yang baik ataupun yang buruk. Catatan amal inilah yang akan Allah perlihatkan kelak di hari kiamat.

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ  إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ  مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ

Dan sesungguhnya kami Telah menciptakan manusia dan mengetahui apa yang dibisikkan oleh hatinya, dan kami lebih dekat kepadanya daripada urat lehernya, (yaitu) ketika dua orang malaikat mencatat amal perbuatannya, seorang duduk di sebelah kanan dan yang lain duduk di sebelah kiri. Tiada suatu ucapan pun yang diucapkannya melainkan ada di dekatnya malaikat Pengawas yang selalu hadir. (Qaf:16-18)

Meskipun nabi sudah dijamin masuk surga, namun tetap semangat mengumpulkan amal, semangat berdakwah. Kalau bapaknya tetap kafir, Rasulullah berharap anak cucunya akan masuk Islam. Al-Walid bin Mughirah kafir sampai matinya, namun tiga dari empat anaknya masuk Islam salah satu yang terkenal adalah si pedang Allah Khalid bin Walid.

Mari kita buat catatan indah untuk diri kita, hingga ketika dibangkitkan di hari kiamat catatan itu menjadi saksi amal shalih kita.

3. Contoh yang menginspirasi nabi berdakwah

Contoh ini Allah gambarkan dalam surat Yasin ayat 13 -27.

Allah gambarkan perumpamaan suatu negeri yang selalu menolak utusan Rasul dari Allah sampai Rasul yang ke tiga juga ditolak. Datanglah seorang laki-laki dari kaumnya berkata: “hai kaumku ikutilah utusan-utusan itu.” Namun kaumnya malah membunuh laki-laki itu. Dan Laki-laki itu masuk surga.

Ya itulah mission impossible yang dilakukan Rasulullah. Manusia tidak ada yang sempurna, justru ketidaksempurnaan inilah menyebabkan manusia butuh untuk saling menasihati dan saling memberi peringatan.

Jangan berpikir harus banyak ilmu dulu baru berdakwah, banyak amal shalih dulu baru berdakwah. Selalu merasa diri tak layak jadi dai, tak layak jadi murabbi karena masih banyak dosa, masih kurang ilmu. Mari kembali buka sirah bandingkan kondisi kita hari ini dengan kondisi Rasulullah.

  1. Nabi terlahir sebagai yatim, masih kecil ibunya wafat, dirawat kakeknya, kakeknya pun wafat, dirawat pamannya yang miskin dan punya anak banyak. Bandingkan dengan diri kita apakah kita yatim piatu ? miskin? Gak punya pekerjaan? Mana lebih buruk kondisi kita dengan kondisi Rasulullah?
  2. Nabi hidup di tengah kaum yang angkuh, keras, sulit didakwahi. Kita hidup di tengah masyarakat yang santun, ramah, murah senyum, suka menolong.

Rasul hidup di negeri tandus dan gersang, negeri yang hampir tidak bisa ditanami. Bagaimana dengan negeri kita? Ooo…h sepenggal firdaus, orang bilang tanah kita tanah surga, tongkat kayu dan batu jadi tanaman (kata Kues Plus).

Yaa akhii… ya ukhtiii… apalagi yang menghalangimu untuk berdakwah… Ayo bekerja, buktikan cintamu pada pertiwi…  wujudkan harmoni bersama seluruh warga dan masyarakat di negeri ini.
