Kewajiban Membentuk Jamaah Dakwah

alhikmah.ac.id – Dakwah adalah suatu kewajiban yang dibebankan kepada setiap laki-laki dan wanita beriman. Allah telah memilihkan dakwah sebagai sebuah jalan yang harus ditempuh setiap mukmin, agar bisa meraih kemenangan. Allah telah berfirman:

“Serulah manusia ke jalan Tuhanmu dengan hikmah dan pelajaran yang baik, dan bantahlah mereka dengan cara yang lebih baik” (QS. An Nahl: 125).

Ayat di atas mengandung perintah dari Allah untuk mengajak manusia ke jalanNya. Inilah yang menjadi landasan kewajiban dakwah. Rasul saw dan seluruh pengikutnya dari kaum muslimin dan muslimat terkena beban kewajiban dakwah. Dengan demikian, dakwah merupakan sebuah kewajiban yang melekat karena keimanan, dan dilandasi kesadaran bahwa hal itu dilakukan sebagai realisasi dari ketaatan kepada perintah Allah dan contoh dari zaman kenabian.

Allah telah memerintahkan kita untuk membentuk umat yang senantiasa melakukan dakwah, amar ma’ruf dan nahi munkar, sebagaimana firmanNya:

“Dan hendaklah ada di antara kamu segolongan umat yang menyeru kepada kebaikan, menyuruh kepada yang ma’ruf dan mencegah dari yang munkar, mereka itulah orang-orang yang beruntung” (QS. Ali Imran: 104).

Dari ayat di atas, ada beberapa pelajaran fiqih dakwah yang bisa kita ambil. Di antaranya adalah:

1. Keharusan membentuk umat atau jamaah

Ayat di atas dengan tegas menunjukkan kewajiban membentuk sebuah umat atau jamaah yang memiliki tugas atau karakter yang spesifik. Secara bahasa, menurut Kamus Al Munawwir, al ummah memiliki banyak pengertian, di antaranya adalah ar rajulu al jami’u lilkhair (laki-laki yang padanya terkumpul kebaikan), man huwa ‘alal haq (orang yang menetapi kebenaran), asy sya’bu wal jumhur (rakyat, masyarakat, bangsa).

Jika dikatakan ummatullah artinya adalah khalquhu, ciptaanNya. Ummatun yad’una ilal khair dalam ayat tersebut bermakna jama’atun yad’una ilal khair, suatu jamaah yang menyeru kepada kebaikan. Umat memiliki makna jamaah, yang harus dibentuk untuk melaksanakan berbagai kewajiban agama. Hal ini menandakan harus adanya pelaksanaan dakwah, amar ma’ruf dan nahi munkar secara kolektif, tidak individual.

Asy Syatibi dalam kitab Muwafaqat menyebutkan, “Hendaklah kamu mempersiapkan kader-kader yang bertugas melaksanakan dakwah dan membantu mereka dengan segala macam bantuan yang dapat diberikan demi suksesnya usaha mereka menegakkan dakwah, menyebarkan agama Allah. Apabila kaum muslimin tidak melaksanakan yang demikian itu berdosalah mereka semua”.

2. Umat dimaksudkan untuk melakukan dakwah, amar ma’ruf dan nahi munkar

Umat yang dikehendaki Allah Ta’ala memiliki karakteristik senantiasa melakukan dakwah (yad’una ilal khair), amar ma’ruf (ya’muruna bil ma’ruf) dan nahi munkar (yanhauna ‘anil munkar). Dibentuknya umat atau jamaah adalah untuk melaksanakan serangkaian tugas mulia yang telah diretas oleh para Nabi dan Rasul, serta orang-orang beriman sepeninggal mereka. Dakwah, amar ma’ruf dan nahi munkar akan efektif apabila dilaksanakan dalam bingkai kejamaahan, bukan dalam skala personal.

Aktivitas dakwah merupakan ladang yang amat luas dan mencakup makna-makna yang lebih umum. Sedangkan ungkapan amar ma’ruf serta nahi munkar telah menunjukkan sesuatu pekerjaan yang lebih spesifik. Keseluruhannya memerlukan kebersamaan dan jamaah dalam penunaiannya.

3. Dakwah adalah aktivitas yang membawa keberuntungan

Ayat di atas ditutup dengan wa ulaa-ika humul muflihun, dan mereka (umat itu) adalah orang-orang yang beruntung. Dakwah adalah aktivitas yang membawa keberuntungan dan kemenangan bagi pelakunya. Artinya, dakwah bukan saja memberikan kontribusi kebaikan bagi masyarakat, bangsa dan negara, namun yang lebih awal justru memberikan keuntungan dan kemenangan bagi para pelakunya.

Keuntungan dan kemenangan ini dalam berbagai bentuk, seperti kemenangan spiritual, kemenangan soliditas, kemenangan penjagaan diri, keutuhan shaf pergerakan, dan tentu saja kemenangan akhirat. Dalam kisah ashabul ukhdud yang berakhir dengan kematian para pembela kebenaran, Allah memberikan komentar peristiwa itu sebagai wa dzalikal fauzul kabir, itulah kemenangan yang besar. Walau berakhir dengan syahidnya banyak pembela kebenaran, namun tetap merupakan kemenangan di hadapan Allah.
