alhikmah.ac.id – Menjadi aktifis dakwah bukanlah sekedar pilihan. Apalagi bagi akhawat al ummahat dengan segala keterbatasan yang dimilikinya. Keterbatasan? Ya, siapa yang dapat memungkiri bahwa ada keterbatasan yang tak dapat ‘diganggu gugat’ dari gerak langkah seorang aktivis dakwah akhawat?

Kita tak hendak membahas soal keterbatasan itu. Biarlah ia menjadi ‘kekhususan, daya tarik sekaligus kekuatan’ kita. Yang lebih penting adalah, bagaimana dengan keterbatasan itu kita tetap dapat dan mampu memberi kontribusi untuk kejayaan Islam dan kaum muslimin.

Dalam kesempatan kunjungan saya ke berbagai tempat, saya bertemu dan berdiskusi dengan para aktivis dakwah akhawat dari berbagai belahan dunia, bukan hanya dari dunia Islam, tapi juga dari Eropa dan Amerika. Banyak persoalan dibahas, tetapi satu persoalan yang menarik bagi saya adalah ternyata ada kesamaan problem di antara semua peserta diskusi. Itulah problem yang saya sering menyebutnya dengan ‘problem khas akhawat, atau problem klasik’. Khas karena problem itu hanya muncul dikalangan akhawat, klasik karena sebenarnya problem seperti ini telah muncul sejak lama, juga telah sering didiskusikan di berbagai forum dan kesempatan, formal maupun informal, tetapi seperti tidak pernah selesai.

Problem apakah itu? Tidak sedikit akhawat kita disini -dan juga akhawat di negara lain- mengeluhkan tentang dukungan dan support suami dalam menjalankan peran sebagai aktivis dakwah. Saya rasa, kita tak perlu tergesa-gesa mengambil kesimpulan dari keluhan itu. Saya mengajak kita semua untuk berpikir jernih dan sedikit melakukan analisa sederhana terhadap sebab munculnya keluhan itu.

Boleh jadi jika suami kurang memberi dukungan seperti yang diharapkan istrinya yang aktifis itu, karena ada perbedaan persepsi tentang ‘peran akhawat al muslimat’. Saya katakan ‘boleh jadi’, karena mungkin antum wahai ikhwan tidak merasakan itu. Tetapi, cobalah tanya ke para akhawat, mereka akan dengan semangat mengatakan bahwa hal inilah yang mungkin menjadi akar dari semua masalah dukung mendukung itu. Bahkan teman saya, seorang ukhti yang saya cintai karena Allah, yang alhamdulillah memiliki suami yang merelakannya menjadikan dakwah sebagai aktivitas hidupnya, berseloroh mengatakan ‘hari gini masih ngeributin peran akhawat?’

Atau bisa jadi juga, karena suami ‘sangat sayang’ kepada istrinya. Dugaan ini muncul karena beberapa ikhwan tidak mempermasalahkan keaktifan akhawat dalam dakwah…asalkan bukan istrinya. Nah! Jujur, teman-teman saya pernah mendengar komentar dari kalangan ikhwan seperti ini, ‘Silahkan saja, akhawat kan memang harus aktif terlibat dalam dakwah, tapi jangan istri saya deh’.

Kemungkinan lainnya, boleh jadi suami melihat istrinya kurang bisa memanej dengan baik berbagai aktifitasnya. Istilah populernya, sang istri jadi ‘kurang tawazun’. Diantara keluhan suami, istri terlalu banyak keluar rumah sehingga jadi kurang perhatian terhadap urusan rumah, anak-anak dan dirinya.

Disamping tiga sebab di atas, tentu masih ada sebab lainnya, yang jika ditulis bisa menjadi tulisan berlembar-lembar. Sekarang marilah merenung sejenak.

Saya sepakat bahwa tidak semua akhawat harus menjadi aktivis dalam pengertian khusus, memberikan totalitas hidupnya untuk menjadi prajurit dakwah. Keberagaman potensi dan kemampuan di kalangan akhawat harus menjadi pertimbangan penting dalam membuat rancangan peran dan kontribusi akhawat yang pas dan sesuai dalam dakwah. Alangkah indahnya jika akhawat memiliki spesialisasi masing-masing, lalu semua bekerja dan memberi kontribusi sesuai spesialisasi potensinya itu dalam kerangka amal jama’i.

Para akhawat yang punya kesempatan untuk berkonsentrasi menekuni urusan kerumah tanggaan misalnya, dapat meningkatkan kualitas dirinya dalam urusan itu. Misalnya dengan menekuni masak memasak, atau ketrampilan-ketrampilan kerumah tanggaan lainnya, lalu berbagi keahliannya itu dengan akhawat lain. Atau, ia juga dapat memberi kontribusi dalam dakwah dengan ikut membantu saudara-saudaranya yang tidak punya waktu luang sebanyak dirinya. Saya membayangkan, para ummahat yang punya lebih banyak waktu dirumah, dengan ikhlas dan semangat amal jama’i lalu berbondong-bondong membantu menjaga anak-anak saudari-saudarinya yang mendapat amanah dakwah keluar rumah, keluar kota atau keluar negeri. Subhanallah, betapa indahnya! Kita berharap, kontribusi ini menjadi amal shaleh kita yang dapat memberatkan timbangan di yaumil hisab nanti. Amin.

Akan halnya para akhawat yang dengan takdir-Nya menjadi prajurit dakwah, marilah sama-sama kita renungkan hal ini! Kita telah melakukan sebuah transaksi besar dengan Allah, Pemilik dakwah ini. Transaksi itu melibatkan seluruh diri kita, harta, waktu, jiwa, potensi, bahkan darah dan daging, tulang belulang kita, semuanya telah kita ‘jual’ kepada Allah. Maka sejak saat kita melakukan transaksi itu dengan memberikan janji setia kita kepada-Nya, saat itu pula sesungguhnya kita telah menjadi ‘milik Allah’ dengan semua makna yang tercakup dalam kata itu.

Ada makna yang sangat dalam dari transaksi yang kita lakukan dengan ikhlas itu. Kita jual diri kita seutuhnya untuk Allah, dan Dia berikan harga mahal untuk semua itu. Allah Yang Maha Kaya memberikan harga untuk diri yang kita jual kepada-Nya itu -tidak tanggung-tanggung, dengan syurga-Nya!

“Sesungguhnya Allah telah membeli dari orang-orang mukmin, diri dan harta mereka dengan memberikan syurga untuk mereka. Mereka berperang pada jalan Allah, lalu mereka membunuh atau terbunuh. Itu telah menjadi janji yang benar dari Allah didalam Taurat, Injil dan Al-Qur’an. Dan siapakah yang lebih menepati janjinya selain Allah? Maka bergembiralah dengan jual beli yang telah kamu lakukan itu, dan itulah kemenangan yang besar!. At-Taubah:111.

Maka saudariku, semua yang kita lakukan, kita perjuangkan dalam dakwah ini ada harganya. Semua kelelahan, ketakutan, keresahan, kesempitan, pengorbanan yang kita berikan di jalan dakwah ini, semuanya ada harganya. Ada janji Allah berupa syurga yang menunggu, jika kita menepati janji setia kita kepada-Nya. Allah tidak akan mengkhianati janjinya, siapakah yang lebih menepati janji selain Allah? Karena itu, siapkan diri kita untuk punya kemampuan menanggung semua konsekwensi, menghadapi semua tantangan dan rintangan, menjalankan semua kewajiban…sampai Allah memberi kemenangan kepada dakwah ini, atau kita syahid di jalan-Nya!

Wahai akhawat! Kewajiban kita lebih banyak dari waktu yang ada. Kewajiban sebagai anak, istri, ibu, tetangga, anggota masyarakat dan prajurit dakwah, semua menuntut penunaian secara ihsan. Saya mengerti dan merasakan, betapa tidak mudahnya kita mengelola dan melaksanakan berbagai kewajiban itu. Kadang kita ‘tertatih-tatih’ menjalankan semua kewajiban itu. Tetapi, kita tidak ingin mengeluh atas semua itu. Kita juga tidak menuntut pengertian dari orang lain agar memahami tugas kita. Justru di sinilah kita letak keindahannya, kita mendapat kesempatan untuk memberi bukti kepada Allah, bahwa kita siap dengan semua beban-beban itu! Karena kita tahu dan yakin, ada surga yang menunggu! Jadi saudariku, buktikan bahwa kita layak melakukan transaksi dengan Allah!

Sebagai penutup, ingatlah bahwa Allah tidak melihat apa dan bagaimana kedudukan kita, tetapi Dia melihat amal dan kontribusi kita. Karena itu, apapun potensi dan kemampuan kita, beramallah dengannya. Sedangkan yang terbaik dan mulia di sisi-Nya adalah yang paling bertakwa. “Sesungguhnya orang yang paling mulia diantara kamu adalah yang paling bertakwa diantaramu.” Al-Hujurat:13.
