Krisis Air, Jamaah Shalat di Gunung Kidul Kesulitan Wudhu

alhikmah.ac.id – Akibat kemarau panjang, warga di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul kini mengalami krisis air. Daerah yang paling parah terkena dampak krisis air adalah, Desa Tepus , Tanjung Sari, sebelah timur Giru Subo dan Rongkot sebelah selatan.

“Masjid dan rumah-rumah di sini kekeringan air, kami mendapati masjid yang jamaahnya gak bisa berwudhu karena masjid tidak punya air,” ujar Ustad Sarjono, seorang da’i di Gunung Kidul.

Menurut Sarjono,  krisis air yang melanda masyarakat Gunung Kidul telah memaksa masyarakat miskin untuk menjual ternak mereka untuk membeli air.

“Kalau orang kaya mereka beli air,  karena ada pihak swasta yg berbisnis air di sini, nah kalau mereka yang nggak mampu  sampai menjual ternak dulu baru bisa beli air,” tutur  Sarjono.

Menurut Sarjono, harga air di daerah Gunung Kidul  mencapai  Rp. 150.000,-per tangki bervolume 5000 liter.

Sarjono bahkan pernah menerima telpon dari pengurus masjid di daerah Gunung Kidul meminta bantuannya  untuk mengirim air ke masjid, karena masjid sudah sampai utang untuk membeli air untuk wudhu jamaahnya.

“Saya kaget dapat telpon dari takmir masjid bahwa mereka hutang  membeli air untuk wudhu jamaah ketika sholat, dan meminta saya untuk mengirim air ke masjidnya,” ucap Sarjono.

Baru-baru ini,  Sarjono dan para relawan mengirim sebanyak 46 tangki air bersih kepada masjid dan rumah warga tak mampu di Gunung Kidul.

“Kami baru saja membantu masjid dan warga miskin sebanyak 46 tangki, dana bantuan air ini dari donatur,”ungkap Sarjono.
